Jack Frost Stages Results
One round down another fourteen to go, the 2008 SG Petch ANECCC Stage Rally Championship got off to a great start on the Jack Frost Stages.
Reigning SG Petch ANECCC Stage Rally Champions Richard and Edwin Cook got of to a flying start gaining maximum points in 5th overall. Richard and Edwin were not in their usual Vauxhall Astra but in the prize drive SGP Motorsport Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9, and anyone who spoke to them on the day will know how much they enjoyed it, is they grinned throughout the whole day.
Second highest ANECCC point’s scorers were Graham Clark/Amy McKinnon from Perth who brought their Subaru Impreza home 11th overall, with Spadeadam Motor Clubs Barry and Michael Lindsay bringing their 1600cc Peugeot 106 20th overall and 3rd ANECCC points scores.
Other points scores were, George Grieve on 27th, Kevin Charles/Tony Jevons 44th, Nigel Hepburn/Richard Hortin 53rd, Nick Morgan 58th and Andrew and Reg Irving 74th. Although Marcus Noble and Helen Hall were competing they were not eligible for points as they had swapped seats for the day, coming home in 76th

For those people who can’t get enough rallying from the 15 round SG Petch ANECCC Stage Rally Championship, West Cumbria Motorsport Club are organising the Greystoke Stages on the 13th July, when regs become available i will inform you in a later bulletin.
